OAX-System 121
Use the MIXER display button to open the ACC
controls. The values changed there are stored
in a total preset if you also save the
Accompaniment data in the corresponding
Total Preset.
Note: You can use the STYLE EDIT display
button to make changes to the style and then
save the style again. For more information, see
the Programming Manual SONIC in the
"Editing Styles".
8.5.1.1 Range of chord recognition
Here you can set the keyboard range in which the chord recognition works for the styles.
By the way, this happens independently of the sounds on the respective manuals. This means that you only
play with strings in the lower manual, but the range of chord recognition is limited to a keyboard area that
you specify.
First, use the three buttons Upper, Lower and Pedal to select which manual you want to enter the chords.
You can easily enter the keyboard range via the corresponding manual. Press first the deepest and then the
highest button of the desired range. The area you entered is displayed on the display keyboard and the input
window disappears after a moment.
Note: Please note that this is not a split point where the manual is divided into two areas. You can set a
separate keyboard ranges for each selector and distribute the sounds individually on the manuals.
ATTENTION: When entering the play area by pressing the lowest and highest key, please note the following:
If the lowest note for the desired play area is above the center of the keyboard, you must first press a key
below the center. You have to approach the desired note from below. The easiest way is to make a glissando
from the very bottom and stop at the desired note.
