Description of the General Global Manual Controls
4.6.3.1 WERSIChord
The function WERSIChord is a musically very attractive way to make 1-voiceplayed sounds or melodies sound
in multiple voices through harmonic additions. The SONIC provides you with another free selector, which is
independent of the sounds on the upper manual.
The additional voices generated with it (except for the functions "Solo Voice" and "Fingered") are controlled
by the chord reached in the lower manual as well as the set WERSIChord type.
The WERSIChord is used with the
control panel button of the same
name by short tap, on or off. By
holding the corresponding control
panel button for a longer time, the
WERSIChord interface opens. You
can also open this interface in
PROFI MODE using the
WERSIChord button.
Note: With the OAX800, OAX900
and OAX1000 models you can open
this interface directly via the WERSI
Chord EDIT control panel button.
Procedure:
Once the WERSIChord Settings interface is open, the selector for the WERSIChord is active. Now, as
usual, you can select a sound from the control panel buttons. In our example we chose the sound "Alt
Sax Ensemble".
Now select the desired WERSIChord from the list of WERSIChord types. A description of the types can be
found in the Programming Manual SONIC.
Use the volume control to adjust the volume of the generated WERSIChord sound. This is completely
independent of the other sounds on the upper manual.
Remember that the WERSIChord does not play the original sound you play on the upper manual.
The WERSIChord settings are saved into the Total Presets in the sounds section.
4.6.3.2 LM-Hold (OAX1 – OAX500 – OAX600 – OAX700)
With this function, the sounds can be held by keys in the lower manual (left manual), i.e.: you can take your
hand away and the sounds continue to sound.
The keys only turns off when lower hold is activated, when stopping the accompaniment or by (fast) 2 times
tapping the start/stop button.
Note: The LM-Hold function on the OAX800, OAX900 and OAX1000 models is located elsewhere on the
control panel. See Chapter Fehler! Verweisquelle konnte nicht gefunden werden. „Fehler! Verweisquelle
