OAX-System 59
Microphone
The sound of a rotor cabinet is essentially determined by the acceptance by microphones. The following
settings are available:
Distance: The Distance setting determines the distance at which the microphones are positioned. The
higher the value, the closer the microphones are to the rotor cabinet.
Balance: This setting adjusts the balance between the microphones for the high horn and the
microphones for the bass drum. At values above 63, the microphones for the high-pitched horn
become louder and at values below 63, the microphones for the bass drum become louder.
Ambience: The Ambience setting determines how many reflections are returned from the surrounding
walls.
Spread: With the spread, you get a larger stereo sound image.
Note: While you adjust the rotor according to your wishes, you can test your results directly with Rotor
On/Off and Slow/Fast.
