Chord recognition
You can choose between four chord recognition modes in the EASY display.
Below is a brief description of the four modes. A detailed description can be
found in the Programming Manual SONIC.
Easy Mode 1: A very simple (but limited) control of the automatic accompaniment, which, despite its simplicity,
adheres to musical specifications by using only sounds contained in the chord (comparable to the single finger
WERSI mode – here only fewer possibilities / variants).
After entering 1 up to 3 keys, only the harmonies major (fundamental note), major-septime (fundamental
note + septime), minor (fundamental note + minor third), minor septime (fundamental note + minor tread +
septime) and major major7 (fundamental note + large septime) are recognized.
Easy Mode 2 (Yam): Also a very simple (but limited) control of the automatic accompaniment, which, however,
requires a shutdown of at least the lower manual sound due to the input of dissonances (by sometimes non-
chord notes).
After entering up to 2 notes only the four harmonies major (fundamental note), major-septime (fundamental
note + a white key left), minor (fundamental note + a black key left), minor-septime (fundamental note + a
white + a black key left) are recognized.
WERSI Single Finger: A simple (and musically more meaningful) control of the automatic accompaniment,
which is matched by entering up to three matching chord notes.
The harmonies major (fundamental note), major-septime (fundamental note + septime), minor (fundamental
note + minor third), minor-septime (fundamental note + minor tread + septime), major major7 (fundamental
note + large septime), minor major7 (fundamental v + minor + large septime) and others are recognized.
Chord Mode: This companion mode is a very extensive mode in which a large number of chords can be
implemented in the companion area.
Chord-Quantization
Here you define the time signature scan in which chords are evaluated.
The OFF setting performs all chord changes directly.
With the settings "Bar - Beat – Half Beat - Quarter Beat – Eight Beat" the
evaluation of the chords you have grasped is limited into the specified cycle
measure.
ATTENTION: The setting can only be set when the style player is not running!
