11. Problem Solving
Paper Jams at the optional High Capacity Feeder Unit
This section describes how to remedy paper jams that occur at the
following locations:
• Paper jams in Lower Left Cover
• Paper jams at lever 1a and Knob1c
• Paper jams at lever 1b
• Paper jams at lever 1d
NOTE: Remedies differ depending on where paper jam occurs.
Follow the instructions displayed and remove the jammed paper.
Paper jams in Lower Left Cover
1. Open the front cover of the optional high capacity feeder unit.
2. Open the lower left cover while gripping the release lever.
3. Remove the jammed paper.
NOTE: If paper is torn, check for any torn pieces of paper inside
the machine.
4. Close the lower left cover.
