Secure the machine to prevent it from rolling away (e. g. with supports).
Allow the engine to run at medium speed.
Open the excavator brake and the parking brake.
Remove the bleed screw (1) on the brake housing of the front axle until the
braking medium (hydraulic oil) emerges without bubbles.
Tighten the bleed screw.

This work must be carried out by two people.

The slewing gear is maintenance-free. Recirculating lubrication is
provided by the hydraulic system.
Danger posed by hot oil and machine parts
Risk of burns.
Z Cover hot surfaces.
Z Avoid skin contact with oil, grease, and machine parts.
Z Wear personal protective equipment.
Z In the event of injuries, seek medical attention.
