6.8.4 Dismantling/disposal
Hazardous fuel and oils in the machine
Failing to dispose of the machine correctly at the end of its
service life can result in accidents and environmental
damage.
Risks are posed by the following:
• All oils (water-polluting, skin irritation after prolonged
contact, do not get into eyes)
• Lubricants/other consumables
• Substances containing glycol, coolant
• Diesel fuel
• Batteries (battery acid H
2
SO
4
)
• Pressurized media/pressure accumulator
• Residual energies (e.g. raised articulated boom)
• Moving parts
• Alcohol in windshield cleaning agent
• Greases
•AdBlue
®
Only an appropriate disposal company should be
charged with dismantling and disposing of the machine
in accordance with applicable laws, directives, and
standards.
Yanmar recommends returning the machine to a
Yanmar dealer.
Observe the national safety standards for dismantling
machinery.
Wear personal protective equipment.
Relieve pressure in the hydraulic system.
