• To exit the menu during operation, press
ESC at the upper left of the operation
panel.
• In the procedural explanation below, the
phrase “rotary knob, numeric keys, <,
and >” are used to refer to the operation
of selecting or setting items or entering
values using the rotary knob, numeric
keys, , and keys (BS key and
right arrow key). For details on the
operation using the rotary knob, numeric
keys, , and , see sections 3.8 or
3.9.
1. Press MISC to display the MISC menu.
2. Press the Remote I/F soft key to display the communication menu.
Setting the GP-IB Address
3. Press the GPIB soft key.
4. Use the rotary knob or numeric keys and < and > keys to set the GP-IB
address.
5. If you use the numeric keys, press the Enter soft key to confirm the setting.
Explanation
GP-IB Address
Each device that can be connected via GP-IB has a unique address within the GP-IB
system. This address is used to distinguish the device from others. If you are
connecting the GS610 to a controller such as a PC, select the GP-IB address of the
GS610 on the PC side.
