12.2 Connecting to the Network
Connect a UTP (Unshielded Twisted-Pair) cable or an STP (Shielded Twisted-Pair)
cable that is connected to a hub, for example, to the 100BASE-TX port on the rear panel
of the GS610.

LINK indicator
Illuminates when the link between
the port on the GS610 and the
connected device is established and
communication is mutually possible.
ACT indicator
Blinks when packet transmission is in
progress.
