1.5 Functions of the 6-CH, Medium-Speed Four-Wire RTD Resistance Input Module
The following inputs can be used on MXLOGGER or the MX100/DARWIN API (sold
separately). These inputs cannot be used on the MX100 Standard Software.

Measurement Interval, Integration Time, and Filter
The table below shows the available measurement intervals. The module is equipped
with an integrating A/D converter. The selectable integration time varies depending on
the measurement interval as shown in the table below. For details about the relationship
between noise and integration time, see section 2.7, “Measures against Noise on the
MX100 Data Acquisition Unit.” In addition, the type of noise rejection filter switches as
shown in the table below.

* When the measurement interval is 100 ms or 200 ms, measured values may fluctuate especially for tempera-
ture and 20 Ω measuments since power supply frequency noise is not eliminated. In such cases, set the
measurement interval to 500 ms or more.

Measurement Synchronization
The module is equipped with a single A/D converter, and measurement is made
sequentially. Therefore, measurements of each channel are not synchronized.
Common Mode Voltage
The common mode voltage between channels in a single module when applied
continuously is 120 VACrms, and the resistance for RTD is 50 VACrms.
The common mode voltage between modules and between a module and earth is 600
VACrms when the signal is applied continuously.
