Hands-Free Mode

In hands-free mode, when you place the DS8178 in the presentation cradle, it automatically triggers when
presented with a bar code. Lifting the digital scanner causes it to behave according to the setting of the Hand-Held
Trigger Mode on page 5-20.
If you select Disable Hands-Free Mode, the digital scanner behaves according to the setting of the Hand-Held
Trigger Mode on page 5-20 regardless of whether the DS8178 is in the presentation cradle.
