Instructions
�WhentheinterfaceadoptsPPPforencapsulation,therouter
sendsaPPPECHOrequestpacketintheintervalofkeepalive.
IfnoECHO-REPLYisreceivedaftersendingveECHOpackets
successively,theinterfacewillbeshutdown.
�TocancelPPPkeepalive,usenokeepalive.Torestorethe
default,usekeepalive.
�Whentheinterfaceadoptsframerelayforencapsulation,the
parameterranges1–30.Inthiscase,<seconds>mustbe
smallerthanintervalt392oftheframerelayswitch.
�ThiscommandisvalidonlywhentheinterfaceadoptsPPP ,FR,
HDLCorX25forencapsulation.
