Instructions
BeforeusingtheDHCPrelayforforwardingDHCPrequestsofusers
toanexternalDHCPserver ,youshallsettheIPaddressofthe
DHCPagent,whichisoneoftheIPaddressesoftheinterface
wheretheDHCPclientis.
TheexternalDHCPserverwillassignuserIPaddressaccording
totheIPaddressoftheDHCPagent.Thetwoaddressesshall
bewithinthesamesubnet.TherespondmessagethattheDHCP
serverreturnedtotheDHCPclientisforwardedthroughtheDHCP
agent.Therefore,theDHCPservershallbeconguredwiththe
routetothesubnetoftheDHCPagent.

restricttheleasepacketfromDHCPuser ,andrecoverthedefault
conguration.

thenDHCPclientisregardedasonline,andsendthemessageto
clienttransparently.
