• Do not use solvents that are not approved by ABB to clean the robot.
• Do not spray from a distance closer than 0.4 m.
• Do not remove any covers or other protective devices before cleaning the
robot.
Cleaning methods
This following table defines what cleaning methods are allowed for ABB
manipulators depending on the protection type.

Instructions for rinsing with water
ABB robots with protection types Standard, Foundry Plus, Wash, or Foundry Prime
can be cleaned by rinsing with water (water cleaner).

cleaned using a steam cleaner or high pressure water cleaner.
