4.4 Setting tones
The following options are available in the Tones menu:
Main menu:
takes you to the Main menu
Back:
takes you to the Settings menu
Beeper:
turn the beeper on or off
Reminders:
turn the beep tone for reminders on or
off
Acoustic mode:
turn the acoustic mode on or off
Beeper:
If Beeper is turned on (default setting), a
beep will sound at the following times during a test:
when the meter advances a test area to the tip of
the cassette,
when the prompt
Apply blood is displayed and you
can apply blood or control solution to the test area,
when
Test in progress is displayed and the test
begins,
when the result is displayed,
when an error message is displayed (a double beep
4 times in succession).
