Control test not OK – possible sources of error
If Control test not OK ... Repeat control test is dis-
played, the result obtained is not within the concentra-
tion range displayed. Check the points listed on the
next page. If your answer is different from the answer
given, make the respective corrections and repeat the
test. If you have taken all of these points into account
and Control test not OK is still displayed, contact
Accu-Chek Customer Care.
If Control test not OK Repeat control test is
displayed, it is no longer certain that the meter
and test cassette are functioning properly. Blood
glucose tests may then deliver incorrect results.
Incorrect results can cause the wrong therapy
recommendation to be made and thus produce
serious adverse health effects.
