Testing blood glucose3
Starting a blood glucose test by opening the tip cover
1 Place your nger on the corrugated area on the tip
cover and push it in the direction of the arrow as
far as it will go.
After overcoming a slight resistance, the tip cover
clicks into place.
Be careful not to touch the tape when doing
this as this could damage it.
If the meter was turned off, it now turns on.
A beep will sound (if Beeper is turned on) and the
display check will be displayed, followed by the num-
ber of available tests.
2 Check that there are no irregularities in the
checkerboard pattern.
