Cleaning the meter and lancing device 11
The inside
You only need to clean the inside of the meter if:
the area around the tip of the cassette is visibly
soiled,
the error message E-4 with the text “See User’s
Manual” is displayed; the error message might be
caused by uff, crumbs, etc. inside the tip of the
cassette.
To enable you to clean the inside of the meter, you
have to open Clean in the Tools menu and then remove
the test cassette (see next page).

If the error message E-4 was displayed, a test
area is lost when you later reinsert the test
cassette.
