Removing the back‑up battery
Apart from the two batteries in the battery compart-
ment, there is also a third battery in the side of the
battery compartment, the back-up battery.
You must also remove this battery before disposing of
the meter.
Remove the back-up battery as follows:
1 Use a small screwdriver or similar implement to
break out the partition wall in front of the battery.
The battery then drops into the battery compartment.
2 Turn the meter over so that the back-up battery
falls out.
