To ensure that any air bubbles are
removed always hold your pump upright
and, gently tap it with the bottom in the
palm of your hand.
Make sure your infusion set is discon-
nected.
Press and hold f for three seconds,
until you hear a melody. The priming
process begins.

Procedure for priming the infusion set
Press d to move to the STOP YOUR
PUMP screen.
Press f to select.

The pump displays the STOP screen, and
insulin delivery stops.
Prepare the tubing or cannula for priming
according to the infusion set’s instruc-
tions for use.

Press d to move to the INFUSION SET
PRIMING screen.
Press f to select. The priming amount
of 25 units of insulin is shown on the
display.
