10.2. Integrated UPS (optional)
DLT-V83 industrial PCs are optionally available with an integrated Uninterruptible
Power Supply (UPS). The lithium-ion batteries of the UPS are located in the cable
cover of the DLT-V83.

Lithium-ion batteries can ignite if stored or handled improperly (risk of fire!), cause
chemical burns or release toxic substances.
You must observe the section Hazards from lithium-ion batteries in the essential
safety information.
All persons who store or handle the DLT-V83 devices with lithium-ion batteries
are to be instructed and require expertise and knowledge about the risks and
precautions.
Integrated UPS technical data
Bridging time The integrated UPS can bridge an interruption of the
main supply typically for 10 minutes. Requirement: the
UPS is fully charged.
Operating temperature -10 to +50 °C
Charging time 2.5 h (fully recharge a completely discharged battery).
The 10 minutes bridging time becomes available again
after a charge time of approx 60 minutes.
The UPS is automatically recharged when the main
supply voltage is applied.
Charging temperature 0 to +45 °C (internal device temperature)
Storage temperature -20 to +60 °C
Maximum output power 35 W
Input voltage 12 V
Output voltage Typically 12 V
Battery capacity 2200 mAh
