2.1. Installation/commissioning by qualified skilled personnel
Only electronic and mechanical skilled personnel are permitted to electrically and
mechanically install and commission DLT-V83 industrial PCs.
Moreover, specialized knowledge about lithium-ion batteries and the applicable safety
regulations is also required for DLT-V83 industrial PCs with integrated UPS (optional).
Only IT skilled personnel with a good knowledge of PCs, operating systems and
wireless networks are permitted to configure the DLT-V83.
These manuals serve as supplement only and are by no means a substitute for the
knowledge and experience of qualified skilled personnel.
If the DLT-V83 is incorrectly installed and configured, any warranty provided by the
DLoG GmbH shall be rendered void.
2.2. User training required
Users of the DLT-V83 industrial PC must be trained by qualified skilled personnel and
instructed about the operation of the device.
Users of DLT-V83 industrial PCs with integrated UPS must also be trained in the proper
handling of lithium-ion batteries.
