Do not use the DLT-V83 near pacemakers
DLT-V83 industrial PCs can affect the functioning of implanted medical devices
such as pacemakers and cause them to malfunction.
Do not use the DLT-V83 near pacemakers.
Always keep a distance of at least 20 cm between a pacemaker and the DLT-
V83 to reduce the risk of interference.
2.8. Do not repair or modify
Only the manufacturer and its authorized service centers may perform the following
measures on the device:
− Repairs
− Modifications
− Replacement of modules
− Opening the device
Integrated UPS: Lithium-ion batteries in the cable cover
If the lithium-ion batteries are faulty, the entire cable cover, including the integrated
batteries, must be replaced.
Loss of warranty
The legal warranty shall apply. This warranty expires if any of the following
unauthorized measures are performed by the customer:
− Repairs to the device
− Modifications to the device
− Replacement of modules
− Opening the device
