If You Use a HP-UX System
This section describes the information required for using a network file system and a
remote printer on a HP-UX system via the network of your site.

Defining Network Parameters
To connect the 4155C/4156C to the network of your site, the following network
parameters are required. These parameters are usually assigned and managed by the
network administrator. Contact the network administrator of your site, and acquire
the parameter values.
• Host name of the 4155C/4156C
(A maximum 15 alphanumeric characters for the 4155C/4156C)
• IP address of the 4155C/4156C
• Subnet mask
• IP address of gateway
The subnet mask and the IP address of the gateway are required to access a network
outside the subnet.
