d. Raise the elevation screw locknut to hold the clamp in place.
With the laser head secured to the mounting plate, ensure that:
• the rear foot screw moves easily and the laser head responds to its
adjustment
• the tripod is level and stable
You can now use the handle on the laser head to carry the laser head and
tripod as a unit.
