If you are entering a new file name, use a three-character file extension to
indicate the type of measurement. For example, use one of the following:
• “lin” for linear
• “tim” for timing
• “ang” for angular
• “flt” for flatness
• “par” for parallelism
• “sqr” for squareness
• “str” for straightness
• “way” for way straightness
• or use “txt” to save as a plain text file
The file extension defaults to the type of measurement selected on the
Metrology Main Menu at the beginning of the measurement.
