Maintaining Your GC 227

Push the wire spring lever to the right to uncover the

hole.

5 From inside the oven with the column installed, pass the

column through the slot in the cup. Move the cup up over

the detector fitting so that the cup touches the top of the

oven. You should be able to see the groove in the fitting.

6 Release the spring into the groove of the fitting.
