The national protocol for the ISDN environment in France. It
is also often used in private networks utilising equipment of
French origin. VN4 is very similar to ETSI.
CorNet-N & CorNet-T
CorNet is a private ISDN protocol that was developed by
Siemens. There are two implementations:
• CorNet-N operates between adjacent PBX links
.
• CorNet-T operates between a PBX and a piece of
ISDN Terminal Equipment (TE).
CorNet-N and CorNet-T are based on the ETSI protocol.
When CorNet-T

Sonata
can only emulate a TE.
TN1R6-N & TN1R6-T
TN1R6 is a private ISDN protocol that was developed by
Bosch Telekom.
• TN1R6-N operates between adjacent PBX links.
• TN1R6-T operates between a PBX and a piece of
ISDN Terminal Equipment (TE).
TN1R6-N and TN1R6-T are based on the 1TR6 protocol.
