3 Troubleshooting and Test Functions
Vessel or Wash Vessel Error
The needle does not reach the target position in the vial or in the vessel of the
well-plate.
The sensor behind the vial pusher in the needle carrier assembly detects the
successful completion of the needle movement to the vessel. If the needle fails
to reach the end point, the sensor fails to recognize the needle movement and
the error message is generated.
Probable Causes
• Bad vessel definition in the plate configuration.
• Closing mats to rigid/thick.
• Bad X or Theta positioning.
• Defective encoder on the needle carrier assembly.
Suggested Actions
✔ Check the vessel definition in the plate configuration.
