Mode
Adjacent Channel Power—ACP (I&M) Measurement
Mode
Frequency Low Limit Sets the negative frequency error limit for the adjacent channel power
measurement.
Trace/Detector
Accesses the trace and detector settings that can be changed when using the ACP
measurement.
Detector Avg/Peak
Sets the detector function to average or peak detector. For pulsed signals, you can get a
more accurate measurement of the signal’s peak or average power by using the Peak
Power Detector option in the analyzer.
The analyzer measures average power of signals by default. However, for
non-constant-duty-cycle signals such as GSM, an average power reading fails to accurately
show amplitude when the signal is on and if other timeslots in the frame are powered off.
If the input signal is not bursted, it is probably better to select Average for a more accurate
result.
