Meas Off (Spectrum Analyzer) Measurement

Trace/Detector
Accesses the Trace/Detector menu keys that control the acquisition, display, storage,
detection and manipulation of trace data.
Select Trace
Selects which trace the
Trace Type menu keys will affect. Press Select Trace until the
number of the desired trace is underlined.
Clear Write
Activates the
Clear Write function for the selected trace. Pressing Clear Write erases
previously stored data in the selected trace and continuously displays any signals during
the sweep of the analyzer. The sweep count for
Average, Max Hold and Min Hold is reset.
Because pressing Clear Write stops the current sweep and prepares to begin a new one,
Average, Max Hold and Min Hold data may be interrupted in mid-sweep and the trace
restarts and the count is reset. In general, the count is updated at the end of each trace.
When
Clear Write is pressed for one trace, Average, Max Hold and Min Hold restarts for all
traces.
When in
Clear Write, if a measurement-related instrument setting is changed the
Mode SA
Remote Command :TRACe[1]|2|3|4:TYPE
WRITe|AVERage|MAXHold|MINHold
:TRACe[1]|2|3|4:TYPE?
Example TRAC:TYPE AVER
Remote Command Notes 1|2|3|4 selects the trace.
Preset Write. Only trace 1 is displayed at Preset.
