Utility and Control/Sweep Functions
Abort (Remote Command Only)
Stops any sweep or measurement in progress and resets the sweep and trigger system. A
measurement refers to any of the measurements found in the MEASURE menu.
Single
Enables single measurements. Pressing Single is equivalent to sending the remote
command sequence:
INIT:CONT OFF
INIT:IMMediate
Therefore,
Single turns Cont (continuous sweep) off. The current sweep will finish.
Remote Command [:SENSe]:SWEep:POINts <integer>
[:SENSe]:SWEep:POINts?
Example SWE:POIN 1001

Example ABOR
Notes If you are in single sweep/measure (INITiate:CONTinuous is
off), then you must start another sweep (send
INITiate:IMMediate). When the trigger conditions are met, a
new measurement will start.
If you are in continuous sweep/measure
(INITiate:CONTinuous is on), a new measurement begins as
soon as the trigger conditions are met.
