Two Port Insertion Loss Measurement
Mode
Marker Trace
Assigns a marker to a trace. Pressing
Marker Trace will activate a marker on trace 1 if there
are no markers turned on. In the Two Port Insertion Loss measurement, only 2 traces are
available.
So if a marker is currently active, press
Marker Trace until 1 or 2 is underlined. The active
marker will be moved to the selected trace.
Auto Init
Turns automatic initiate On or Off. When
Auto Init is set to On the markers trace attribute
is re-determined automatically by the analyzer whenever the marker turns on (Normal or
Delta) from an Off state. Auto Init is set to On at
Preset or All Markers Off. The following
flowchart depicts the Auto Init rules:

Couplings
This key is only available on measurements that have multiple traces.
Preset Trace selection is preset to Auto, so the default trace depends on the
available traces and the predefined order of selection.

Range 1|2
Range The number of traces available to put a marker on, varies depending on
the current selected measurement. In the TPIL measurement, 2 traces
are available.
