One Port Insertion Loss Measurement
Mode
1st Segment (Left or Right Limits)
Sets 1st Segment to allow definition of the limits Left or Right of the center segment. The Left or Right
amplitude limits can be changed with the
Level key. The Left or Right span limits can be changed with the
limits menu Span key. This key is only available when 1st has been selected with the Segments key.
Level: 1st Segment Left
Sets the power level, for the 1
st
segment to the Left of the Center segment. This key is only available when 1st
has been selected with the
Segments key.

If Off the 2

limit mask segment will not be displayed even if
turned On.
If On and the Center segment is On:
The left hand side 1

segment is drawn to the left hand side of
the center segment at the specified power level
The right hand side 1

segment is drawn to the right hand side
of the center segment at the specified power
For both left and right 1

segments when On
If the 2
nd
segment is Off the 1

segment extends so the total
limit mask span is equal to the current frequency span.
If the 2
nd
segment is On the left and right 1

segments use the
specified span values.
