5Audio Analyzer Measurement Functions
The SNR measurement is accomplished by alternatively
switching the input of the UUT between the U8903A
generator output and a built- in 600 termination. The UUT
output is connected to the U8903A input. The analyzer will
measure the UUT output signal amplitude when the
generator is routed to the input. The noise level is measured
when the input of the UUT is terminated with 600 . It is
expressed in Vrms. The ratio between the output signal
amplitude and noise level is the SNR result which can be
expressed in dB (default) or as a percentage. The SNR can
be computed as follows.
The figure below shows the SNR measurement.
