When collect-stats is enabled, the counters are used by the system to generate the following
statistics:
a. offered-undefined = 3 + 4
b. offered-in = 1 + 2
c. offered-out = 5
d. discard-in = 6 + 8
e. discard-out = 7 + 9 + 10
f. forward-in = 11 + 13
g. forward-out (includes forward-exceed) = 12 + 14 + 15
offered-total-cir-exceed — Counter resource allocation: 3
The offered-total-cir-exceed mode allocates three forwarding plane offered counters and
three traffic manager discard counters.
The offered-total-cir-exceed mode is most useful when the policer is configured to forward
packets which exceed its configured PIR. The mode gives the forward and dropped counters
per profile (in, out, exceed).
The counters are used in the following manner:
1. offered-any-to-green
2. offered-any-to-yellow
3. offered-any-to-red
4. dropped-any-to-green
5. dropped-any-to-yellow
6. dropped-any-to-red
7. forwarded-any-to-green = Derived from 4-1
8. forwarded-any-to-yellow = Derived from 5-2
9. forwarded-any-to-red = Derived from 6-3
When collect-stats is enabled, the counters are used by the system to generate the following
statistics:
a. offered-total = 1+2+3
b. dropped-exceed = 6
c. dropped-out = 5
