General Operator Safety
WARNING
To prevent eye injury, be sure to wear protective glasses for
Nd:YAG with an optical density of at least 7+ at a 1,064
nanometer wavelength.
To prevent blindness or eye injury, wear safety goggles at all times during welding.
Do not touch the welded parts immediately after the weld process, because the welded parts
can get very hot.
Be careful of moving parts. You can be injured by moving parts during the welding process.
Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry around moving parts. They may get caught and cause
injury.
