The configuration GRP 3000 contains the same functionality as the system GRP 1000 with
the addition of the Profiler FX, which enables the measurement of the track environment in
complete profiles or single points. It can also be used for track environment surveys without
external reference measurements. In this application all results are referenced to the position
of the track (relative surveys).

1.4.3 VMS 1000
The configuration VMS 1000 basically consists of standard GRP 1000 plus a second trolley
GRP TSC+ which is used to install an automatic tribrach and a total station. This set of trolleys
allows measuring the track geometry based on measurements to control points which are
located on the side of the track. In contrast to the configuration VMS 3000, the GRP TSC+ used
for this configuration must be equipped with internal sensors for track gauge, super elevation
(cant) and stationing.
