Problem Check and correct

Make sure that all power switches are on.

Check the battery power level.
■
Restart the complete system (scanner and
computer).
Scanner does not rotate to perpendicular
position.

Check the battery power level.
Laser does not measure.
■
Check that the key switch (2) is in the ON
position.
5.4 Inertial measurement technology
The IMS 1000/3000/5000 system configurations use the inertial measurement unit AMU
(Amberg Measuring Unit) 1030, AMU 2010 or AMU 2030 for the acquisition of the 3D-track
alignment.
