IMS 5000 Sync Module
Synchronisation Module
The IMS 5000 Synchronisation Module
is a basic component for high precision
synchronisation of the data coming from
different sensors during data acquisition.
Only required with AMU 1030.
Toughbook CF-20
Field Computer
The computer Panasonic Toughbook CF-20
is used for the control and monitoring of
the measurement by the appropriate system
software (GRPwin, Amberg Rail 3.0). All
measured values are stored on the same
computer.

High-speed laser scanner (for GRP/IMS
5000)
Scanner
The high-speed laser scanner is mounted on
the battery column GBC 5010. It is necessary
to use the appropriate adaptor plate (please
contact Amberg Technologies for information
about the adaptor plate) in order to install the
laser scanner on battery column.
A list of the supported laser scanners
is shown in Section 1.5.3, “High-speed
laser scanner for the configuration GRP/IMS
5000” on page 16.
