Leica TPS
Total station
For the absolute positioning of the GRP
System FX, a Leica robotic total station is
used.
A list of supported total stations is
shown in Section 1.5.1, “Total station
for georeferencing of GRP System
FX” on page 15.
In order to use the above listed total stations
with the GRP System FX, it must be
equipped with Automatic Target Recognition
(ATR) and must support Prism Lock for
kinematic measurements.
The total station model should be selected
according to the accuracy requirements of
the application. For track measurements, it
is usually required to have a high angular
accuracy. Instruments with an accuracy of 1"
are recommended.

GNSS system
For the absolute positioning of the GRP
System FX, a GNSS system can be used.
A list of supported GNSS system is
shown in Section 1.5.2, “GNSS system
for georeferencing of GRP System
FX” on page 16.
