Leica radio modem / Leica radio handle for
TPS
Radio modem
The radio modems needed for
communication between the total station and
the track trolley TGS FX. The measured
data from the total stations is constantly
transmitted over the radio modem to the FX-
Controller system and then sent from there
to the control computer.
A list of supported radio modems is shown
in Section 1.5.4, “Radio modem for the
communication between track trolley and
total station” on page 17.
Leica GPH1/GPH1P
Prism
For use of the GRP System FX with the total
station, a prism is installed on the Profiler
FX, the prism column GPC 100 or one of
the laser scanners. For highest accuracy, we
recommend the use of a prism of the type
GPH1P.
A 360° prism is not recommended
since the aiming and measuring
accuracy are reduced.
