8. Move to, and scroll the option list until the ‘Mic Routing’ option is displayed in the middle field:
Button #01 [Mic Routing] Security
Other options available:
[Not-Conf]
The button is not used.
See Section “7.3.4.1 Configuring a Button as Unused”.
[DVA Routing]
Configures the selected button for complex routing.
See Section “7.3.4.3 Configuring a Button for DVA Routing”.
Note: ‘DVA Routing’ is only available for Paging or Zoned Fire Microphones that are connected
to VAR Router’s Mic/Line inputs 1 or 2.
[AllCall]
Configures the selected button as ‘All-Call’ button.
See Section “7.3.4.4 Configuring a Button as an All-Call Button”.
[{Route Reset}]
The selected button was specified to act as ‘reset’ button of a DVA Routing button configured to
trigger a latched route in the Latching menu. It is not configurable from this sub-menu.
See Section “7.3.4.3.3 Configuring a DVA Routing Button for Latching Mode”.
Note: ‘Route Reset’ is only displayed for Paging or Zoned Fire Microphones that are connected
to VAR Router’s Mic/Line inputs 1 or 2.
Default value: ‘Not-Conf’
9. Press the SELECT key to display the output selection menu.
10. Move to, and scroll the output list until the required output is displayed in the left field:
[OUTPUT 01] Not Selected
Default value: output 1 name
Outputs: 4 output for VAR4
12 output for VAR12
20 output for VAR20
Note: The output given above is the output 1 default name, however this may have been changed
according to each site’s configuration.
11. Move to, and toggle to the required selection option in the right field:
[Not Selected]
The output is not part of the zone selection of the particular button.
[Selected]
The output is part of the zone selection of the particular button.
Default value: ‘Not-Selected’
12. Repeat steps 10 to 11 to configure every output required for the zone selection of the particular button.
13. Save the changes by pressing the SELECT key, or cancel by pressing the BACK key.
