The input priority is used to resolve conflicts when two or more inputs try to broadcast to the same output. In
this case the input with the highest priority will be able to broadcast, and the others will not.

Priority is assignable to each input per output. This is so that different inputs may have different priorities
according to which zone they are serving. For example a particular audio input may have a high priority only
in its local zone.

In order to set the music input priority proceed as follows.
1. Select ConfigurationÆSystemÆRouterÆInputsÆMusic/MuteÆMusic A/B.

2. Move to, and select the Pri menu item:
[Pri] Class Fade O/pGains
3. Move to, and scroll the output list until the required output is displayed in the left field:
[OUTPUT 01] Priority-19
Default value: output 1 name
Outputs: 4 output for VAR4
12 output for VAR12
20 output for VAR20
Note: The output given above is the output 1 default name, however this may have been changed
according to each site’s configuration.
4. Move to, and scroll the input source priority list until the priority to be applied is displayed in the right
field:
OUTPUT 01 [Priority-19]
Default value: ‘19’
Possible values: 01 to 19 (01 is the highest priority)
• Care should be taken in ensuring that background music sources have appropriately
low priorities. For this reason the Music input default priority is 19 (lowest).
• There is also Priority-00, but it is not for general use. It is used by the Mute input, see
Section “10 Mute Input Configuration”.

5. Repeat steps 3 to 4 to assign the priority to each output.
6. When all outputs have had their correct priority assigned, save the changes by pressing the SELECT
key, or cancel by pressing the BACK key.
