9.1.6 Music Input Emergency Class
The emergency class is used to indicate the emergency DVA message status, as described in Section “8.4
DVA Input Emergency Class”.
The emergency class will be applied to the routed Music input be it either Music A, or Music B.
Ensure that the Music input class is set to ‘Non Emergency’ following these steps.
1. Select ConfigurationÆSystemÆRouterÆInputsÆMusic/MuteÆMusic A/B.
From V4.1.0470 or later:
ConfigurationÆSystemÆRouterÆInputsÆMiscÆMusicÆMusic A/B
2. Move to, and select the Class menu item
Pri [Class] Fade O/pGains
3. Confirm that the Music input is set to ‘Non Emergency’:
[Non Emergency]
4. Save the changes by pressing the SELECT key, or cancel by pressing the BACK key.
9.1.7 Music Input Name Configuration
The name of each of the Music inputs (Music A and Music B) may be edited to reflect the actual use of the
input e.g. ‘CD’, ‘MP3’, etc., as described in the following steps. This is for reference only, and it is shown in
input related menus.
1. Select ConfigurationÆSystemÆRouterÆInputsÆMusic/MuteÆMusic A or Music B.
From V4.1.0470 or later:
ConfigurationÆSystemÆRouterÆInputsÆMiscÆMusicÆMusic A or Music B
2. Move to, and select the Name menu item:
Gain EQ ANS [Name]
3. Edit the music input name as required using the arrow keys or the rotary encoder.
[BACKGROUND A]
Music A default name: ‘BACKGROUND A’
Music B default name: ‘BACKGROUND B’
Possible value: alphanumeric string of up to 12 characters
Note: The DEFAULT key may be used to clear the entire text string to all blank, for speedier input.
4. Save the changes by pressing the SELECT key, or cancel by pressing the BACK key.
