18.5 Amplifier Status
Various status information and measurements are available from an amplifier, as described in the following
sections.
18.5.1 Amplifier Type and Revision Level
The type and revision level of the amplifier installed in a mainframe slot can be displayed, as described in the
following steps.
1. Select TestsÆStatus.
2. Scroll and select a mainframe from the list:
[Frame#nn - ]
Mainframe: 01 to 63
Note: Only configured mainframes are displayed.
The mainframe description will be shown on the right side of the display, if defined.
3. Move to, scroll, and select an amplifier from the slot list in the left field:
DIP = 000000 Measured [Slot#1]
Slot: 1 to 4
4. Select the Type menu item:
[Type] I/O Measured
5. The reported type is displayed:
[Reported Type= v23.4 100W Standby]
‘Standby’: identifies a standby amplifier
‘Single’: identifies a single circuit surveillance mode
‘Dual’: identifies a dual circuit surveillance mode
