4.2 Logging On
The VAR Router provides two security levels by logging into the system using different access code. In order
to log into the system proceed as follows.
1. Select ConfigurationÆAccess.
2. Use the rotary encoder and/or arrow keys to enter the access code:
[9999]
Default value: ‘1999’ logs on as User 1 with full access to the system.
‘0999’ logs on as User 2 with restricted access to the system. The user can only clear
faults, either via the FAULT CLEAR button or via the menu.
3. Having entered the correct code, log on by pressing the SELECT key, or cancel by pressing the BACK
key.
Note: Entering an invalid access code will display a warning message and the user is locked out for 3
seconds, then the system returns to the ‘Configuration’ menu.
4.3 Logging Off

The system will automatically log the user off after 5 minutes without any user interaction.
In order to log off from the system proceed as follows.
1. Select ConfigurationÆAccessÆLogOff.
2. Log off by pressing the SELECT key, or cancel by pressing the BACK key.
