5.1.3.12 Network Priority Configuration
The Slave Units arbitrate between the audio inputs into the Audio Control Unit, and their own local inputs
according to the input priorities. Therefore in a networked system it is essential that the Slave Units are
programmed so that they know the Priorities of the Audio Control Unit’s audio sources.
In order to program the network audio sources proceed as follows.
1. Select ConfigurationÆSystemÆNetÆPri.
2. Move to, and scroll the input name list until the required network input is displayed in the left field:
[MIC/LINE 1] Priority-01
Default value: Control Unit input 1
Inputs: MIC/LINE 1 to 8
CTRL MUSIC
CTRL MUTE
CTRL DVA1 to 4
3. Move to, and toggle to the required priority in the right field:
MIC/LINE 1 [Priority-01]
Default values: MIC/LINE 1 – Priority–01
MIC/LINE 2 to 8 – Priority–07
CTRL MUSIC – Priority–19
CTRL MUTE – Priority–00
CTRL DVA1 – Priority–03
CTRL DVA2 – Priority–05
CTRL DVA3 – Priority–07
CTRL DVA4 – Priority–09
Possible values: 01 to 19 (01 is the highest priority)
Note: Priority 00 is only available for CTRL MUTE input. Mute input is a special input, which mutes
even fire microphones if needed. For this purpose its priority is set to ‘0’ by default. However,
the mute input is configurable, so it is possible to mute just DVAs, and/or any other inputs.
4. Repeat steps 2 to 3 to configure each input.
5. Save the changes by pressing the SELECT key, or cancel by pressing the BACK key.
