Note: The ‘Surv Out’ reading is the actual signal level not the threshold.
A warning message will be displayed if an unused slot is selected.

18.5.4 Amplifier Output Surveillance Tone Level
The monitored level of the surveillance tone detected at an amplifier output can be displayed, as described in
the following steps.
1. Select TestsÆStatus.
2. Scroll and select a mainframe from the list:
[Frame#nn - ]
Mainframe: 01 to 63
Note: Only configured mainframes are displayed.
The mainframe description will be shown on the right side of the display, if defined.
3. Move to, scroll, and select an amplifier from the slot list in the left field:
DIP = 000000 Measured [Slot#1]
Slot: 1 to 4
4. Move to, and select the Measured menu item:
Surv In [Surv Out] DC Line Earth Leak
6. The surveillance tone detected at the amplifier output is displayed:
[Surveillance O/P level(AC mV)= 00105]
7. Return to the parent menu by pressing the SELECT key, or the BACK key.
