VIPET DVA fault VPT: DVA N
N=VIPET DVA number
Check DVA N on VIPET.
VIPET reset VPT: CPU RESET Clear the alarm by pressing the VAR Router “FAULT
CLEAR” button.
Check the communication between VIPET and VAR
Router.
If VIPET still indicates a system fault, the VIPET unit
will need replacing.
Network fault VPT: LAN NN Check network connection to VIPET.
Mic comms fault VPT: IPNN COM
NN=VIPET audio input number
Check data cabling or power supply cabling between
microphone and VIPET.
Mic CPU reset VPT: IPNN COM
NN=VIPET audio input number
A one-off occurrence may be experienced due to EMI
or transients. Repeated occurrences indicate faulty
microphone electronics.
Input audio surveillance VPT: IPNN AUD
NN=VIPET audio input number
Check audio cabling or power supply cabling between
microphone to VIPET.
Mic capsule fault VPT: IPNN CAP
NN=VIPET audio input number
Check continuity of microphone capsule or any
associated wiring.
Remote I/O unit comms

NN=Remote I/O Unit Address
Check the Comms and power wiring to Remote I/O
Unit.
Check RS485 termination.
Check that address of Remote I/O unit is correct.
If all above ok, suspect the unit itself. Check the unit’s
internal CPU and COMMS LEDs.
